Using his experience gained when working in the London factory, "The late" Geoffrey Lusty concentrated on original Lloyd Loom designs as well as developing a modern collection of Lloyd Loom tables, chairs settees and many other products. He will be greatly missed for his knowledge and kindness.
History & Manufacturing
In 1907 an American, Marshall Burns Lloyd, invented a special loom that could weave twisted kraft paper into a woven fabric partly reinforced with steel wire.
This woven fabric became known as Lloyd Loom and it revolutionised an area of the furniture industry.
