Using his experience gained when working in the London factory, Geoffrey Lusty (the only original Lusty left in the Lloyd Loom business) concentrates on original Lloyd Loom designs as well as developing a modern collection of Lloyd Loom tables, Lloyd Loom chairs and Lloyd Loom settees.
In 1907 an American,Marshall Burns Lloyd, invented a special loom that could weave twisted kraft paper into a woven fabric partly reinforced with steel wire.
This woven fabric became known as Lloyd Loom and it revolutionised an area of the furniture industry.
